Eat well? A moveable feast

A moveable feast
You have read about hormones and their implications and weight management. Let’s assume that your hormones are balanced and you can make the food choices rather than being driven by those powerful chemicals.
So, what now?
I have met many who are used to starving themselves in the hope that they can shift some shape. So many of us don’t eat all day. We are surprised when compelled to eat I the evenings, and eat more than they would like.
Suggestion Number 1
Eat regularly. It is a lot easier for your, now balanced, body to manage regular food. It doesn’t have to be a lot. Sugar is not your friend in this, but regular slow-release foods (brown carbs and/or protein) are just what your body needs.
Suggestion Number 2
Eat breakfast, if that suits you.
I have rejoiced when clients tell me that they have introduced an egg to their, previously barren, mornings. See Suggestion Number 1
Suggestion Number 3
If breakfast does not suit you, leave it out of your day. You are unlikely to perish. I had to learn this. I was previously of the belief that breakfast = life.
I became a morning exerciser and just couldn’t fit everything in. I decided to exercise before eating breakfast and I lived to tell the tale.
It is important to note that this is not the same as our deciding to starve ourselves. See Suggestion Number 1.
Three is enough. We will do more another day.
Sort breakfast, or not breakfast, and the rest will follow.
